Donate to Gilmer Arts' New Gallery Fund

In response to our community's growing interest in the arts, Gilmer Arts is launching an extensive renovation project for a New Art Gallery and Arts Education Center. 

With your help, we can renovate and expand our facilities and continue to offer sensational events and educational opportunities for adults and youth and enrich community life for all of Gilmer County and the surrounding area.

Gilmer Arts purchased the building adjacent to the Gilmer Arts Playhouse in downtown Ellijay with the vision to create a thoughtfully designed art gallery suitable for multiple exhibits. By moving the primary gallery to the new location, Gilmer Arts will be able to expand the educational programs offered within the current gallery building. Modifications to the existing facility will enable classes for adults and youth to have more room. Plus, there will be a dedicated gallery for youth exhibits.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, financing the more than $600,000 building renovations will require multiple fundraising efforts, grants, and the generosity of sponsors and donors like you. Please make a tax-deductible donation today.

Art Exhibits to be featured separately from Art Classes.

The new and improved Gilmer Arts Gallery space will attract local and regional artists of all mediums who seek to have their work displayed in a beautiful, secure environment. Their work will be featured safely and respectfully without the disruptive hustle and bustle of educational classes and daily business activities occurring in the same building.

The new gallery will have ample space for viewing the exhibits and will be easily and conveniently accessible from both the Dalton Street sidewalk entrance and the level parking lot entrance facing Sands Street. For special occasions, the gallery will be accessible from the Playhouse auditorium.
