Renovations continue in downtown Ellijay. Check out this week's update from the New Gilmer Arts Gallery. 

Bob is back with another Gilmer Arts Gallery construction update! The interior of the main gallery space includes an elevated section between the main Sand Street (parking lot) entrance and the Dalton Street entrance. The team designed a clever solution for difference in elevation from one end of the building to the other. More updates coming soon!

Things are really starting to come together for the arts in downtown Ellijay. Help open the doors to the new Gilmer Arts Gallery!

Gary and Bob talk with one of our dedicated crew members who shares that working on the New Gilmer Arts Gallery is “more than a job, it’s a heart thing.” He looks forward to seeing his young daughter’s art on display here someday in the future.

Gilmer Arts is bringing the arts together side-by-side in downtown Ellijay. The new sidewalk connecting to the Playhouse is set, and the crew is preparing the opening for the grand entrance to the New Gallery. 

Through summer's rain and blistering heat, the Gilmer Arts New Gallery crew is making progress!  Now there's a smooth entrance from the parking lot side - also known as Sand Street - and a connecting sidewalk to/from the Playhouse. 

Exciting progress at the new Gilmer Arts gallery this week! Things are really starting to "come together" for the arts in downtown Ellijay.  

The new Gilmer Arts Gallery in downtown Ellijay is coming together with new educational space for creative instruction of all types. Soon there will be a whole new set of windows on the street-front side of the building.
